Insurance
KCA does not take insurance, but will provide you a superbill which can be submitted to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. When this is requested, a diagnosis is required to be submitted along with the superbill.
Payment
Payment is cash, check and all major credit cards. Due to the high processing cost, a $4.00 processing fee will be charged to supplement the cost of this service to keep session costs from rising.
Options for payment
Each therapist has their own rate, and some therapists offer a sliding scale or other options for hardship cases. There are a limited number of partial scholarships for children and teens. Be sure to scroll down for more information.
Cancellation policy
A 48-hour cancellation is requested, but a 24-hour cancellation is required. There is NO charge for cancellations made with a 24-hour advanced notice, however cancelling your session with less than a 24-hour notice will result in a charge of the full session fee. If you are sick, you have the option of moving to a telehealth session or rescheduling without charge. Your counselor will discuss options for emergencies. If you do not show up for your session and have not provided a 24 hour notice, you are responsible for the full session fee.
Letters and Reports
We take your needs seriously, providing quality letters and reports to schools, doctors, and other professionals desiring your requested documentation. We offer the first letter, or the first 30 minutes free, as a courtesy of your therapist. After the initial 30 minutes or first letter provided, all letters and reports are at the therapist's current rate.

Liz’s Legacy Fellowship has partnered with KCA to provide a limited number of scholarships for children and teens who need financial assistance to receive quality counseling services. Presently, Diane, Brianna, Jordan, and Mary are approved to provide these scholarships. We hope to add more therapists to this growing list.
